Hi, I’m Michelle.
I’m a therapist and the founder of Satori Sky Counseling.
If you’re here, you may already have a sense that something deeper is ready to shift.
Many of the people who find their way to my work are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who have spent years holding everything together. On the outside they appear capable, responsible, and successful. Yet internally they may feel anxious, exhausted, or caught in cycles of overthinking, perfectionism, or nervous system overwhelm.
Therapy offers a place to slow down and begin understanding these patterns with curiosity and compassion.
Michelle Paige, LPCC
Depth-oriented therapist specializing in anxiety, perfectionism, and trauma.
Offering virtual therapy across Colorado and in-person sessions in Boulder and Niwot.
My Approach
My work is integrative, trauma-informed, and mind-body based. Rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, therapy becomes a space to explore the deeper emotional and nervous system patterns shaping your experience.
I draw from several evidence-based approaches depending on what best supports your healing, including:
• EMDR for trauma processing
• Parts work (IFS-informed) to understand inner conflicts and protective patterns
• Somatic and mindfulness-based therapy to reconnect with the body and support nervous system regulation
• Relational and depth-oriented psychotherapy to explore identity, meaning, and long-standing emotional patterns
Together, we gently untangle the roots of anxiety, perfectionism, and relational dynamics while building the internal capacity for greater emotional flexibility, self-understanding, and stability.
Who I Often Work With
Many of my clients are deep feelers and deep thinkers.
They tend to be highly sensitive, perceptive, and emotionally aware… qualities that are often strengths, but can also make life feel overwhelming when the nervous system is under chronic stress.
You may recognize yourself in some of these experiences:
• feeling constantly “on” or mentally overactive
• holding yourself to extremely high standards
• overthinking decisions or conversations
• feeling responsible for other people’s emotions
• struggling to slow down or truly rest
• sensing that life could feel more spacious and aligned than it currently does
Our work focuses on helping you move out of survival patterns and into a more grounded, authentic way of living.
What Therapy With Me Is Like
Clients often describe our work as both grounded and exploratory.
Sessions are collaborative and relational. We move at a pace that respects your nervous system and your readiness for deeper exploration.
Sometimes therapy focuses on understanding present-day challenges — anxiety, relationship struggles, burnout, or life transitions.
At other times we explore deeper emotional patterns that may have formed earlier in life and continue to shape how you relate to yourself and others.
Over time, many clients find that therapy becomes a space where they can reconnect with parts of themselves that have been pushed aside by stress, pressure, or old survival strategies.
I believe healing is not about fixing something that is broken.
It is about gently understanding the patterns that once helped you survive and creating new ways of relating to yourself and the world.
If this resonates, I would be honored to walk alongside you in this process.
My Background
I am a mindfulness-based psychotherapist trained at Naropa University, where I received my Master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling.
My work is deeply influenced by contemplative psychology, somatic awareness, and depth-oriented approaches to healing. I am trained in EMDR and continue to study trauma-informed therapy, nervous system regulation, and experiential approaches to emotional healing.
In addition to my clinical training, I have long been interested in the intersection of psychology, spirituality, and human development. These perspectives inform my belief that therapy is not only about resolving suffering, but also about helping people reconnect with their deeper sense of self and meaning.
